Cable and Sandals

Tangled wires,
silent whispers,
conversations float,
unanswered,
near the door.

Sandals left,
beside the threshold,
unspoken memories,
held back,
like a breath.

Cords coiled tight,
around themselves,
a knot,
of emotions,
that fade to past.
